How do I get updates. ? (only 1 option is required)

bulletAutomatically (must be configured on your enterprise server)
bulletAutomatically by signing into the program (contact us for details)
bulletClicking on Help-->Update Program (and rating tables)
bulletManual update
   

How do I Manually Update the programs. ?

For updating the VINCLEAR.DBF for the DOS insurance program please download SUPPORT.ZIP to the root of your C:\ drive and at your convenience contact the writer if you need assistance with the installation.

For those agents/brokers/companies using the WINDOWS AUTORATER in a “stand alone” environment, please do the following at EVERY laptop or workstation which has the program running in the C:\AUTORATE folder.  Note: You may also update from the Help menu tab of the WINDOWS AUTORATER.

 Close the windows insurance program

Click http://www.aiva.ca/ARINST.EXE

Click ‘Open’

bullet

Click ‘Next’ (several times)

Close the windows program

Click http://www.aiva.ca/WIP_UPGD.EXE

Click ‘Open’   (and ignore any windows security warnings that this may contain malicious code).

Click ‘Next’ (several times)

Click on Finished.

  Installing WIP.EXE – windows insurance program for the first time.

 Click http://www.aiva.ca/WIP.EXE

Click ‘Open/Run’   (and ignore any windows security warnings that this may contain malicious code).

Click ‘Next’ (several times)

You will be asked what is the drive and folder for the data  (Example   F:\P_NOPPER) OR C:\PARTNER)

bullet

You will be asked to install a small program called “Techsmith”

bullet

Keep clicking “Next” until …

bullet

Click on Finished (you will be asked to reboot your machine).
